On Monday, March 16th at 4 P.M. the Las Vegas Natural History Museum will temporarily close to the public, joining our community and country in taking extra precautions to minimize the recent spread of COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus. The Museum team takes pride in providing a safe, clean, and fun experience for visitors at all times, so cleaning will continue in anticipation of reopening soon.
In the interim, please join our educators virtually via our social media channels and website as we share new “Dino Tours,” beginning this afternoon.
Additionally, in following recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local health authorities, we are suspending all large group activities at this time and for the near future, including: Field Trips, the Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival, and Bones & Booze.
We encourage you to stay informed as the situation evolves via the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization.
Again, stay well and we look forward to seeing you soon!
