Job summary:

The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is in search of a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Educator/Cashier. In this customer-focused position, you will play a key role in engaging with the public in a warm and lively manner.

As an Educator, your goal will be to foster a positive and educational environment for school groups and other visitors to the Museum. Your duties will include leading and helping with educational programs and leading tours that are informative, age appropriate, and enjoyable. In your capacity as a cashier, you will ensure accurate transactions and handle cash responsibly. You will also be responsible for answering phone calls, assisting callers, or directing them to the correct department. Occasional cleaning tasks within the Museum will be part of your responsibilities as well.

The starting pay for this part-time position is $12.00 per hour. Previous experience in handling money is preferred, and having a background in a museum environment is a plus. This role will be 25 hours of work per week. To apply, please send your resume to laurie@lvnhm.org
