Anniversary Party

The Las Vegas Natural History Museum will celebrate its 24th anniversary by featuring its summer exhibit Dinosaur Revolution. There will be special activities including discount admission prices. Children (up to age 11 years old) will be free with a paid adult, plus free ice cream courtesy of the Museum’s downtown neighbor Anderson Dairy.

Scheduled Activities:
• Tour the traveling exhibit Dinosaur Revolution
• Learn about “When Dinosaurs Roamed Las Vegas” from geologist Nick Saines at 1:00 p.m. Stick around for the book signing at 2:45 p.m.
• Meet Rocky the Rock Iguana from Exotic Pets from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Learn about fossils from Cap’n Dave Eisenstein
• Build your own dinosaur habitat
• Solve a dinosaur puzzle
• Shark feeding at 2:00 p.m.


Anniversary special admission is children (up to 11 years old) are free with paid adult. Regular admission is $10 for adults; $8 for students, seniors, and military; and $5 for children ages 3–11. Children 2 and under are free. Admission covers access to the entire Museum. Hours are 9:00AM to 4:00PM daily. Call (702) 384–3466 for more information.
