Mystery at the Museum 2024

Howdy! The Las Vegas Natural History Museum requests that you don your duster and borrow some boots as we invite you to a murder mystery set during the Wild West!  Something dastardly is set to occur this evening! You must find the culprit before they skip town...or commit foul deeds again! Your goal is to mingle with the other guests, observe the mystery characters, find the physical clues around the town, and eliminate individuals on your suspect card.  

Mocktails (included in the ticket price) will be offered as the evening commences, giving you time to become acquainted with each other and the Museum. There will also be grub available for purchase before the night's mystery begins.  

A word of caution: appearances may be deceiving, and no one is above suspicion!  

Upon arrival, you will check in and receive a wristband for the evening. You will also be provided with your character name tag, a suspect card, a small pencil, and a commemorative "town newspaper." If your character begins the evening with play money, you will receive it at this time. After checking in, you can begin mingling with other guests and the mystery characters.  

Doors open at 5:30 PM for check in, and the program begins promptly at 6:30 PM- partake in light refreshments from our mocktail vendor, play fun western themed games, throw your friends in jail, and see if you can solve the mystery!  

This event is for adults 18 years and older. Costumes are strongly encouraged. Please ensure that your costume does not include any offensive or culturally appropriative elements and is modest/comfortable - you will be walking and moving for most of the evening. 

Functional Barking Irons (Pistols), knives, razor blades, weapons, or objects of any kind capable of causing harm are strictly outlawed. All period-appropriate props must be declared upon check-in, must be replicas/toys and must be “peace tied” during the event.  

Limited tickets available- reservations are mandatory to receive your official party invitation!

 PLEASE NOTE! When purchasing tickets, please select the date of visit for April 6th. Select the event ticket for Mystery at the Museum, and please be sure to select a character from the drop down tab at the top of the page. Members, don't forget to log in to receive your discount! 

*Anyone arriving in vulgar, offensive, or culturally appropriative attire will not be admitted and no refund will be issued.  

*No refunds will be issued for guests who cancel within 72 hours of the event start. Any reservation modifications must be requested no later than April 3, 2024 at 5:30 PM. Reservation modifications, if possible, will be granted at the discretion of LVNHM staff.
