About the Event

Early Explorers: Shark Migration Storytime invites young learners to dive into shark science through stories, play, and observation. The program begins with an engaging story time that introduces how researchers track sharks in the wild—using tools and observations to learn where sharks go and why they migrate. After the story, children will complete an easy, age-appropriate activity that reinforces the science in a fun, hands-on way.

To wrap up, participants will get to “think like a shark scientist” by observing the museum’s bamboo sharks and epaulette shark in their pool, practicing careful looking and asking questions just like real researchers do.

Designed for young learners.

Included with museum admission or membership. Supplies are limited; first come, first served.
