About the Event

At the Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum, we are on a mission to inspire a better understanding and appreciation of the natural world, the sciences, and ourselves through educational exhibits, programming, and research.

Volunteers play an important role in supporting the Las Vegas Science and Natural History Museum’s mission through hands-on learning experiences, visitor interaction, behind-the-scenes collections work, makerspace programming, special events, and outreach initiatives.

Whether assisting guests in the galleries, supporting STEM education, caring for live animals, or helping preserve important scientific collections, volunteers help create meaningful and engaging experiences for visitors of all ages while gaining valuable skills and experience in a museum environment.

We recognize and acknowledge that the Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum is located on the traditional lands of the Southern Paiute, Ancestral Puebloans, and Lower Colorado River tribes.

The Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum is committed to…
