About the Event
Discover the exciting world of 3D design in this beginner-friendly workshop designed for first-time creators. Participants will learn the fundamentals of Tinkercad, an easy-to-use computer-aided design (CAD) program, as they explore the tools and techniques used to create digital 3D models.
This hands-on class focuses on building a strong foundation in 3D design by developing skills in spatial thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. Participants will gain the confidence needed to continue designing in future workshops and prepare their creations for 3D printing.
Please note: Session 1 is focused on learning the fundamentals of Tinkercad. Depending on class time, participants may not have the opportunity to 3D print their designs. Those who complete Session 1 are encouraged to continue building their skills in Creation Station: 3D Design & Printing – Level 2, where they will refine their designs and prepare them for printing.
