About the Event
Early Explorers: Measuring Monsters invites young scientists to explore how researchers study new and unfamiliar creatures—using careful observation and measurement. Participants will practice noticing details, describing what they see, and using different tools to measure a newly discovered “monster,” building early STEM skills like comparing size, recording information, and using simple data to answer questions.
This playful program helps children build confidence with science tools and vocabulary in a fun, age-appropriate environment.
Designed for learners 8 years and younger.
Included with museum admission or membership. Supplies are limited; first come, first served.
