About the Event

Get ready to make some noise and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with our maraca-making activity! Explorers will craft their own vibrant maracas, inspired by traditional Latin America instruments. Learn about the cultural significance of maracas through our read aloud story time! Supplies are limited, first come-first serve. This program is presented in English and is recommended for our younger explorers 6 years old and younger.

The program is funded in part by a grant from Nevada Humanities, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

- Included with museum admission or membership.
