About the Event
Early Explorers: Rainbow Weaver Storytime invites young learners to enjoy a story about creativity, problem-solving, and community as they follow a young Mayan girl who uses her ingenuity to make a difference. Through an engaging, age-appropriate storytime, children will build early literacy skills while exploring themes of resourcefulness and cultural traditions.
After the story, participants will get hands-on by learning the basics of weaving and completing a simple paper craft. This activity supports fine motor skills and gives children a fun way to connect storytelling with making.
Suitable for learners 6 years and younger.
Included with museum admission or membership. Supplies are limited; first come, first served.
