About the Event
Early Explorers: Spider Storytime is a fun farewell to our traveling exhibit The Art and Science of Arachnids. Young learners will enjoy an interactive, spider-themed storytime that introduces kid-friendly facts about spiders and what makes these arachnids so unique. After the story, participants will create a small paper jumping spider—then test it out by launching it using the power of their lungs!
This playful activity blends early science learning with creativity and hands-on experimentation in a welcoming environment for young explorers.
Designed for learners ages 8 years and younger.
Included with museum admission or membership. Supplies are limited; first come, first served.
