Gallery ambassadors help maintain the galleries, interact with guests, participate with specimen tables, etc. Please check the dates to decide when you want to come in and be a gallery ambassador (docent).

About the Event
As a gallery ambassador (docent), you have the option to engage with visitors in a single room or circulate between rooms. Respond to visitors' inquiries about the museum or galleries. Inform them about upcoming events. Assist in keeping the galleries clean, particularly around the sandbox displays, as they can be a safety hazard, and report any damages or issues to a staff member. Please note- the museum staff may not always have projects for you to do, so please assume you will be volunteering as a gallery ambassador until a project comes up.
