Gallery ambassadors help maintain the galleries, interact with guests, participate with specimen tables, etc. Please check the dates to decide when you want to come in and be a gallery ambassador (docent).

About the Event
As a Gallery Ambassador (Docent), you have the option to engage with visitors in a single gallery or circulate between exhibits.
Respond to visitors' inquiries about the museum, artifacts or galleries. Inform guests about upcoming events, interactives or daily STEM activities. Assist facilities in keeping the galleries clean, particularly around hands on interactives as they can be a safety hazard. Report any damages or issues to a staff member.
Please Note:
Museum staff may not always have projects to work on, so please prepare as a gallery ambassador until a project comes up. If you have interest in shadowing fields of study, please check in with Volunteer Department to help you get started.
