About the Event

During this activity we’ll explore the 20 day glyphs, or Tonalli, from the Sunstone, also known as the Aztec Calendar, discussing their meanings and names in English, Spanish, and Nahuatl. Participants can engage further by coloring pages featuring these glyphs.

The program is funded in part by a grant from Nevada Humanities, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
