About the Event
Explore how one person’s actions can help protect our planet in Scientist Spotlight: Dr. John Francis! In this engaging program for ages 6 and up, participants will learn about Dr. John Francis—an environmental leader known for his commitment to conservation, education, and sustainability. Students will discover how everyday choices impact the Earth and take part in a hands-on sustainability activity to explore ways to reduce waste, conserve resources, and care for natural spaces. Celebrate the powerful contributions of Black scientists and leaders in environmental science while becoming a young environmentalist yourself!
Recommended for ages 6 and up.
