About the Event
Shine a light on discovery in this Early Explorers program featuring Scientist Spotlight: Emmett Chappelle! Children ages 8 and under will learn about Emmett Chappelle, a pioneering scientist who studied bioluminescence—the way living things like fireflies and glowing algae make their own light. Through a hands-on STEAM activity, young scientists will explore how light works and create their own glowing “organisms” to take home.
Designed for ages 8 and under.
Included with museum admission or membership. Supplies are limited; first come, first served.
