About the Event
Discover the wonders of plants in Scientist Spotlight: Gina Danza! In this interactive program for ages 6 and up, participants will learn about Gina Danza, a scientist who studies how plants grow and thrive. Kids will take part in a hands-on STEAM challenge that blends science and creativity—using flashlights, real plants, and paper to create detailed plant shadow tracings. As they trace and decorate their plant outlines, students will observe shapes and structures up close, while learning how plants use light and play a vital role in healthy ecosystems.
