About the Event
Can you really fry an egg on the sidewalk? Usually no—but you can harness the sun’s energy with a device called a solar oven! In this hands-on program, participants will explore solar-powered science by building and testing a solar oven, learning how sunlight can be captured and converted into heat. Experiment with designs, observe how temperature changes, and see what the power of the sun can do.
Recommended for all ages.
Included with museum admission or membership. Supplies are limited; first come, first served. Snacks will not be provided.
