About the Event

Build like a pioneering engineer in STEAM Challenge: Bridges! Participants will learn about Emily Roebling, who played a crucial role in completing the Brooklyn Bridge and inspired generations with her determination and problem-solving skills. In this hands-on challenge, students will design and construct their own bridges using simple materials, then test their creations for strength, stability, and creativity. Along the way, young engineers will practice critical thinking, teamwork, and creative problem-solving—while celebrating the contributions of women in engineering.

Recommended for ages 6 and up.

Included with museum admission or membership. Supplies are limited; first come, first served. Your child earns a free Cane’s children’s combo when you participate in this activity and fill out a quick parent survey!

Achievement Awards are generously offered by one of the newest Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers locations, which is also located the closest to the museum on Fremont and Eastern, 2231 East Fremont Street.
