Hispanic Heritage Month - Artist Submission Form
How do wildlife, ecosystems, and natural landscapes tell stories of culture, identity, and belonging across Latin America?
The Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum invites artists to submit work for a community-centered exhibition celebrating the rich biodiversity, wildlife, and ecosystems that shape cultures throughout Latin American countries.
This exhibition highlights the interconnected relationships between people and nature, honoring the animals, plants, forests, deserts, mountains, wetlands, coastlines, and rainforests that inspire traditions, stories, and ways of life across Latin America. We welcome the diverse voices of artists who explore the beauty, resilience, and ecological significance of these environments through their work.
Artists may submit works inspired by the wildlife and ecosystems of Latin American nations, including but not limited to tropical rainforests, cloud forests, mangroves, coral reefs, grasslands, deserts, rivers, and mountain regions. Artwork may celebrate native species, conservation efforts, cultural connections to the land, environmental stewardship, and the relationship between communities and the natural world.
Selected works will be featured as part of a community celebration encouraging dialogue around biodiversity, conservation, cultural heritage, and the importance of protecting the ecosystems that sustain life. Priority will be given to 2D works at this time.
