Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Anna

Since joining the Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum in May, Anna has already made a wonderful impact on our team! As a valued member of our Husbandry Team, she has shown an incredible willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.

Working alongside Mike and Jack each week, Anna continues to develop her animal care skills while lending a helping hand with special projects, including our traveling exhibit, The Art and Science of Arachnids!

Outside of the museum, Anna is just as dedicated to her academic and extracurricular activities. She serves as president of her school's math honor society, Mu Alpha Theta, and is also a talented percussionist in her school band.

Her hard work and enthusiasm have certainly not gone unnoticed!

"Anna is highly dependable, passionate about our animal care, and very thorough in her work." Said Mike, from our Husbandry Department. "She blows us away with all of her hard work!"

We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and passion Anna brings to our museum. Volunteers like her play an important role in supporting our mission of inspiring curiosity and a love for the natural world.

Thank you for all that you do, Anna! 🎉💚
